Tannery Arts Center
SPOTLIGHT on…Rachel Anne Goodman!

As they say in radio: …in three, two, one, we’re LIVE!  And we are just that at the Tannery. The Tannery Arts Center Board of Directors hired Rachel Anne Goodman as the new Executive Director to lead the nonprofit and raise funds for the Performing Arts Center.  As a lifelong radio journalist, Rachel joins the Tannery community with a strong background in fundraising and nonprofit arts management as well as extensive ties to the local community.  She was most recently employed as Assembly member Bill Monning’s District Director and Press Secretary where she ran constituent services for the district and was in charge of press relations.

Before serving as Mr. Monning’s District Director Ms. Goodman was adjunct professor at Cabrillo College and a Peabody-Award winning radio journalist. She is a seasoned grant writer and served as Development Director at a large nonprofit arts and media center in eastern Kentucky called Appalshop. In her own words, Ms. Goodman states:

“I am truly honored to be asked to lead The Tannery Arts Center and to help it grow into its full potential as a creative center for our community. I look forward to working with the board and staff to help complete this ambitious and vital project.”

Help us welcome Rachel Anne Goodman and build the Performing Arts Center at the Tannery!
