Mary Sawyer-Atkinson

I feel very strongly about the painting connecting with the viewer.  I seek to impart energy, feelings and mood – emotions. My work, spontaneous and experimental, does not grow old but invites the viewer to take a new journey each time contemplated.  In particular I want to relate spiritually.  I chose to produce a piece of work that has intrinsic value to me as well as one that can potentially bring healing and beauty to others.

My work has been described as “thought-provoking” and “inspirational” (AZ. Highways) and I truly hope it is.  That is my aspiration, inspiration and intention.
